When you are a young and small organization - You are typically co-located and there is always someone who takes unsaid role of governance (holding team members accountable) on various matters - Be it Leave Protocols / Reimbursement practices / other benefits etc. The challenge happens when this "small" team starts to grow and suddenly becomes distributed with few hundred employees.
